Agate was named by the Greek philosopher, Theophrastus, in the shores of the river Achates in Sicily around the 3th and 4rd centuries BC. This stone is known as the “warrior’s stone” and it comes in a large variety of colours and shapes. Agate is considered to enhanced physical and mental strength.
