Sodalite Properties & Meaning

Sodalite comes mainly from Canada & it is often known as the “Canadian blue stone”.  It was discovered in Greenland in 1806. Sodalite was named by professor Glasgow Thomas Thomson who was hired by the British empire to identify the rock after it was first seen in Europe when it was discovered in a captured ship arriving from Greenland to Denmark during the Napoleonic wars.  Sodalite works directly with the 5th chakra, it’s a great stone to enhance public speaking skills & communication.
