Can I keep my howlite in water or salt?

Howlite is a porous stone that does not appreciate prolonged contact with water, and even less so with salt water. Moisture can weaken it and alter its surface. To purify it, prefer dry methods such as fumigation or sound purification.

Why does my howlite look different from the photos?

Howlite is generally white with distinctive gray veins, but each stone has its own unique pattern. These natural differences explain why your howlite may differ slightly from the pictures in terms of pattern and intensity of veining.

How can I improve the appearance of my howlite?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean your stone. Avoid contact with water or chemicals. To enhance its appearance, place it on a dark surface or under soft LED lighting to highlight its natural veining.
