Can I store my serpentine in water or salt?

Serpentine can be rinsed briefly in water, but prolonged soaking, especially in salt water, can damage its surface and make it dull. To purify it, opt for fumigation or exposure to moonlight.

Why is my serpentine different from the photos?

This stone comes in many shades of green, sometimes with dark veins or inclusions. Each specimen is unique and may have slightly different patterns to those shown in the photos.

How can I improve the appearance of my serpentine?

Simply dust with a soft cloth. To enhance its green shades, place it in natural light or on a contrasting surface.
