Fluorite
Can I keep my fluorite in water or salt?
Fluorite is a relatively soft stone and does not tolerate water well. Prolonged contact with water, especially salty water, can weaken its structure and cause it to lose its brilliance. To purify it, opt for fumigation, sound purification or contact with quartz or selenite.
Why does my fluorite look different from the photos?
Fluorite can present a wide range of colors, from green to violet, blue, yellow and sometimes mixtures of several hues. As each stone is unique, your fluorite may show subtle variations from the photos. These natural peculiarities make each specimen unique.
How can I improve the appearance of my fluorite?
A simple dusting with a soft, dry cloth is all it takes to preserve its brilliance. Avoid shocks, as fluorite is fragile and can crack easily. To show it off to its best advantage, place it in soft lighting to enhance its play of transparency and color.
A stone of concentration and organization, fluorite helps structure thoughts and make clear decisions. It enhances learning and strengthens memory, particularly for studies and work. Its protective energy also helps dissipate negative energies.
