Selenite Properties & Meaning
Selenite is often transparent, white, or orange in colour. This crystal represents unity, honesty, peace, light, and oneness, amplifying your connection with your higher-self and the spiritual realm. In addition, Selenite helps to relieve anxiety, stress, and overthinking as it brings you clarity, peace of mind, and mindfulness. It is believed that Selenite is one of the few crystals in the world that never needs to be cleansed due to its purifying and cleansing properties. Simply place any crystals you wish to cleanse near or in direct contact with a piece of Selenite, and leave them there for as long as it feels necessary. Crystals love the cleansing energy of the Selenite, so the longer they stay there, the better. We recommend leaving your crystals with Selenite overnight for optimal purification. However, some say that it can take as little as fifteen minutes, depending on the crystal.
