Can I store my rhodonite in water or salt?

Rhodonite can be rinsed briefly under clear water, but prolonged soaking is not recommended, especially in salt water, which could alter its polished surface. Purification methods such as fumigation or exposure to moonlight are preferable.

Why is my rhodonite different from the photos?

Each rhodonite is unique, with shades of pink interspersed with black or gray veins. These natural patterns vary from specimen to specimen, which means that your stone may differ slightly from the photos.

How can I improve the appearance of my rhodonite?

A soft cloth is all you need to clean it. To bring out its natural contrast between pink and black, place it on a light surface or expose it to diffused light.
