Hematite Properties & Meaning

Hematite is an iron oxide; one of the most abundant minerals on earth. It’s colours vary from black, red, brown and metallic gray. The name hematite comes from Greek, which means “Blood” because this crystal is often found in its natural state covered by red rust. Hematite is a very good grounding stone as it provides an overall sense of security, stability, and safety. It’s ideal for protection, especially against psychic attacks. It also rebalances your energy while keeping away negativity. Hematite can neutralize toxic emotions and negative feelings. It removes blockage and negative thoughts from the subconscious mind. It combats stress, anxiety, worrying and repels fear.

This crystal is very grounding and exactly what I needed! A staff member from the crystal shop told me that I should use my instincts and I will end up gravitating towards a stone that I need. I ended up in front of the hematite point prisms.
